What Questions Should a Product Demo Video Answer?
With a product video, you want to give people answers, but you don’t want to dump information on them. Too often, companies want to make a video that throws in everything and the kitchen sink. We get it! You’re proud of your product, and you’re excited to show the world all the amazing things it can do.
But, as we’ve mentioned so often, people’s attention spans are shorter than ever. Here’s what our experience shows works best for a product video:
•An engaging opening metaphor or emotional hook
•One sentence answer to “Why should someone use my product?”
•2-3 supporting benefits
•Tell viewers what they need to do next
•Let them know how to do it
•That’s it! Keep it short, keep it simple. Get them interested, and get them to take action.
