Coin Dogg puts a new spin on ways to reward creators and their fans.
It’s an age-old question: How can artists get compensated for their work?
Being an artist or creative almost always goes hand-in-hand with the idea of being poor. Even some of the most legendary musicians and artists of all time died in poverty.
If you immediately thought, “hasn’t technology evened the playing field”, the answer is “sort of”.
But, as with any new tech, just because something has been invented, that doesn’t mean users know about it or understand how to use it.
Our primary challenge was translating the concept of a non-fungible blockchain token reward system into one that could be not only understood by viewers, but get them excited as well.
If you read that phrase about non-fungible tokens and scratched your head in confusion, you already know that the solution had to be one that bridged a major chasm between technology and user.
Simplifying terminology – such as translating non-fungible blockchain token to something anyone can grasp, i.e.; “digital collectible” – was a big part. Creating bright, colorful, and fun characters and designs was equally as important.
So was using a friendly voice.
A video about complex technology that feels anything but, giving modern creators (and their fans) the opportunity to keep creating and enjoying art and content.
