“Should I buy my plane ticket now, or wait?” It’s a challenge we all face. When is the perfect time to purchase plane tickets? The prices goes up and down like a leaf in the wind. And if you think it’s hard doing it for yourself, just imagine the frustration for big businesses trying to book tickets for all their employees. The difference in knowing the best time to buy could mean saving — or losing — hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. That’s where FairFly comes in. Their algorithms monitor ticket costs and their platform makes it easy to make changes, even after tickets are bought.
Whenever a new service is created, one of the biggest challenges is getting the word out. It doesn’t matter how good a product or service is; if no one knows about it, no one can buy it. We had to create a compelling video to capture the attention of a very specific target audience: Corporate Travel Buyers.
We started this animated explainer video with a powerful metaphor that immediately makes sense to anyone who has ever purchased airline tickets. Using the leaf floating up and down with no obvious sense as to where it would go next and then transitioning to air ticket prices creates a strong opening hook. Once attention is grabbed, we made sure to get into the specifics: this is a product designed for corporate travel buyers. Once the customer knows what they are watching is for them, we give them all the reasons they need it. Cap it off with a strong call to action to the website, and we’re good to go.
